Acknowledgement of Country
Stratify IQ Pty Ltd acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land on which we live and work. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
We recognise that sovereignty was never ceded and that this always was, and always will be, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander land. We acknowledge the continuing connection of First Peoples to Country, waters, kin, and culture, and the strength of more than sixty thousand years of knowledge, custodianship, and innovation that continues to shape this place.
Our commitment
As a Melbourne-based technology business working across government, enterprise, and community projects, we are committed to listening, learning, and acting in ways that contribute to reconciliation. This includes:
- Seeking out and supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander owned suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants where engagements allow.
- Designing digital products that respect cultural protocols, including the appropriate use of language, imagery, and data relating to First Peoples.
- Supporting our team to engage with cultural awareness learning and local community initiatives.
- Reviewing this acknowledgement and our practices regularly so they remain meaningful, not symbolic.
About the flags
The Australian Aboriginal Flag was designed by Harold Thomas in 1971. Copyright in the flag is held by the Commonwealth of Australia and it is freely available for public use. The Torres Strait Islander Flag was designed by the late Bernard Namok in 1992 and is administered by the Torres Strait Island Regional Council. Both flags are displayed here in their official colours and proportions.
